Automatically organise files (Windows/Mac)

Use: Power Automate (Windows) or Automator (Mac)

Windows:

  1. Install Power Automate (if not pre-installed).

  2. Open → New Flow → “When a file is created in folder”.

  3. Add Action → “Move file” to a specific folder.

  4. Save and test.

Mac:

  1. Open Automator → New → Folder Action.

  2. Select folder → Add “Move Finder Items” or “Rename Finder Items”.

  3. Save the action.
